Definition
Microneedling/skin needling is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device (dermapen) that contains fine needles.
How It Works
Each client is treated with a new, sterile cartridge inserted into the front of the dermapen
.
The device runs smoothly across the skin with the needles moving up and down, puncturing the skin to create a controlled skin injury.
Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin, kick-starting the skin’s natural repair and rejuvenation process.
The Result
Improvement in skin general skin radiance, texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and pigmentation.

Down Time
Skin will be red on the day of the treatment, with the appearance of sunburn. After effects like stinging, itchiness and skin tightness are normal and usually subside within 24 to 48 hours.
The device can operate at different depths, depending on the area and indication being treated, allowing a treatment tailored to your individual needs. The depth of the treatment done, will determine the severity of skin redness after treatment. Make-up can be applied the day after treatment.
How Many Treatments
This depends on your treatment objective, and the severity of the problem treated. Treatments are done 4 weeks apart.

How Long Do the Results Last?
After the first treatment you will start seeing results. Work up to 10 sessions the results can last for up to 2 years.
